Year 13 - UCAS Application Deadline (UK)

SUNDAY 11 JANUARY 

The deadline for UK university applications through UCAS is Wednesday 14th January. Miss Atkinson has told Year 13 students that she would like all applications sent by Sunday 11th January, at the latest, in case there are any unforeseen circumstances or technical issues.

Year 13 - US University Applications

The DEADLINE for Miss Atkinson to upload transcripts and references for students applying to US universities is 12:00pm on THURSDAY 18 DECEMBER.

Students should already have requested a counsellor reference from one of their teachers. If not, they need to do so as a matter of urgency. The deadline for transcript requests for US applications is 2:00pm on Tuesday 16 December.

The deadline for submitting applications is: SUNDAY 12 OCTOBER 

Y12/Y13 Students and Parents - Gulf Ed Tour

We are delighted to once again invite you onsite to attend our upcoming Gulf Ed University Tour.

There are a large number of university representatives attending from across the globe.

Gulf Ed Tour - 5 Oct 25

This event will run from 1215-1255 and you should come via the main reception wearing your parent ID badge.

All parents will need to be escorted to and from the main hall, therefore anyone arriving after 1230 will not be able to gain access to the event.   Once you are ready to leave, please let a member of staff know, and we will guide you back to the reception to sign you out.

Parking: Due to the EYFS pick at this time, you wont be able to park onsite, you can however use the parking spaces outside of the school area and any available spaces outside of the bottom car park.

Y13 Predicted Grades for University Applications

Year 13 students will soon receive their predicted grades, which will assist them in making informed decisions about their university applications and future studies. To learn more about how these grades are determined, please refer to the 'Predicted Grades for University Applications Guidelines' document. 

Y12/Y13 Students and Parents - International University Fair 

Dear Parents, 

We would like to invite you to our International University Fair taking place on Sunday 21 September - 1200-1250.

This will be a great opportunity for you and your child to meet with representatives from a number of different uni's and ask any questions you may have.

We would politely ask you to park at the bottom car park using the outside spaces available. You can then access the site via the bottom security gate and wait in the foyer of the Sports Centre where a member of the Sixth Form Team will collect you.

Whilst on site, you must wear your parent lanyard at all times, or sign in with the security team who will issue you with a temporary one.

If you would like to come along, please take a few moments to fill out this form so we can make the necessary arrangements.

*This event is open to students and parents of Years 12 and 13 only.

Key Dates for UK University Testing - 2026 Applicants

UCAT for UK Medicine applicants : Booking opens on the 17th June, 2025. Deadline for registration is 19th September, 2025 and the deadline for completing the test is 26th September, 2025.

LNAT for Law in the UK (and some European universities) : Please check the deadlines for individual universities.

ESAT for Engineering and Science courses at Cambridge : Booking opens on 31st July, 2025. Deadline for registration is 29th September and the test must be sat on 9th/10th October. 

ESAT for Engineering courses at Imperial College and other institutions: Booking opens on 27th October, 2025. Deadline for registration is 19th December and the test must be sat on 6th/7th January, 2026.

Please check carefully for other subject-specific tests for universities e.g. MAT (Oxford) and TMUA (Cambridge) for Maths courses, as well as TARA (UCL).
